KEY OF THE FUTURE WOMEN KAGIDER Deputy President and Erdem Holding Board member Attorney Emine Perviz Erdem who spoke at the organization of MOBISAD which aims to attract attention to the importance of women in the sector it represents with the organization of “Women’s Power Summit”, stated that she saw “Empowerment of Women” as a part of communal peace vision. With the “MOBISAD Women’s Power Summit” which is organized by Mobile Communication Tools and Information Systems Men (MOBISAD), within the context of social responsibility works, MOBISAD attracted attention to the importance of women in the sector they represent. Subjects that were discussed at the summit were empowerment of place of women in business life, equality of opportunities for women and men, importance of women’s employment in the sector, development and effectiveness of women relating with technology, and importance of education and love. At the organization which is realized with broad participation, AK Party Istanbul Congresswoman Mihrimah Belma Satir, KAGIDER Deputy President and Erdem Holding Board Member Attorney Emine Perviz Erdem, CABA Association President Ozlem Zehebi, CABA Association Co-President Dr. Ozlem Cankurtaran, Turkcell Sales Intelligence/Performance Management Director Sebnem Mengen and Vodafone Talent Management Senior Manager Gunisigi Uzunoglu participated as the speakers.

Deputy President of Turkish Female Entrepreneurs Association (KAGIDER) and Board member of Erdem Holding Attorney Emine Perviz Erdem, who spoke at MOBISAD Women’s Power Summit said: “ If women and men participated in economy equally in Turkey, our Gross National Product would be 30 percent more today.” She also made the evaluation by saying: “We are seeing that companies which establish the balance of communal gender types and which can make use of skills that are unique to women are more successful. As we manage human resources wisely and as we use the power and skills of our women correctly, we can change the table. We are seeing that when opportunities are given in education and business life, our women can be leaders and they can create differences for the country.” “DIGITALIZATION ENABLES EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITIES.” Erdem who stated that as family company GENPA operated in telecommunication area, she witnessed the opportunities provided by the advancing technology to women everyday and she said: “Today throughout the world it is spoken about the relationship between digitalization and empowerment of women. As technological infrastructure we have got very big opportunities for getting organized, getting trained and for reaching to the community. The tools which are provided by telecommunication sector in our time, are facilitating having access to information. They make individuals become more competent. In business world and social life, we are getting stronger in developing business and relations. All segments in the community can communicate with each other and equal opportunities are arising. This situation of equal opportunities enable for women and youngsters to participate more in business life, for entrepreneurship to develop, and for education to widespread by means of technological platforms. Technological transformations bring communal development with them and in the information era it is not possible to develop without women”. “WOMEN’S POWER IS IMPROVING” Emine Perviz Erdem reminded that as KAGIDER they have recently started the campaign,entitled, “We should take from women and let the country gain !” and she said that intake of products and provision of services would make significant contribution to the development of a country’s economy and social status and she said: “For this reason as KAGIDER we are inviting both our community and our government to realize trading and shopping with female entrepreneurs and female enterprises. Because economically empowered women make more contribution to their families and environment. 10 years ago the total share of female entrepreneurs in Turkey was at the level of 4.5 percent. This ratio rose to 8 percent today. We are also happy on behalf of our country as the works created their impact in a short time”.
