Erdem Holding and Dörken GmbH & Co. KG, one of the leading building materials producer in Europe, has joined forces with the joint venture agreement signed on February 4, 2005. This agreement results in the establishment of Dörken Sistem Inc as of April 2005 to operate in the construction industry. Dörken Sistem started its activities by offering Turkish Construction sector Dörken’s DELTA branded waterproofing and drainage systems for roofs, facades and foundations. As of the year 2006, "DELTA" branded "foundation-wall protection and drainage sheet" production started in Dörken Sistem’s İzmit-Kocaeli plant.
Erdem Holding^s strong partner Dörken GmbH & Co. KG is a family enterprise and today the fourth generation is at the management. Dörken whose first investment outside Germany had been their Canadian subsidiary has made the second production investment in Turkey with Erdem Holding. Founded in 1892, Dörken GmbH & Co. KG is Europe's first manufacturer of breathable waterproofing membranes for pitched roofs in 1961. Dörken is also one of the first manufacturers of HDPE dimpled sheets in the world which started to be used as protection and drainage system for foundation walls since the early 1980s.

Utilizing the production capacity fully Dörken Sistem’s product range includes pitched roof membranes with associated accessories, foundation-wall protection, waterproofing and drainage systems, covering and scaffolding tarpaulin, plus garden and pond films.
